26th World Men Championship was held from 9th to 23rd August 2012 in Lille, France, as a part of the 2nd World Mind Sports Games .
The following disciplines of Draughts-64 will be included into the WMSG-2012 (all separately for men/women):
1. World Mind Sports Games (WMSG) – World Men Draughts-64 Championship 2012, classic program;
2. World Mind Sports Games (WMSGB) – World Men Draughts-64 Championship 2012, blitz program;
3. World Mind Sports Games (WMSGW) – 1st World Cup in Draughts-64 for women 2012, classic program;
4. World Mind Sports Games (WMSGWB) – 1st World Cup in Draughts-64 for women 2012, blitz program
Competitions among men was held by the Brazilian version of draughts-64.
Competitions among women was held by the Russian version of draughts-64.
